Sfilata dei Krampus a Laives (Krampus Parade in Laives)

The Sfilata dei Krampus in Laives is a traditional event celebrating the South Tyrolean Advent season. The procession stars the local 'Brontntol Tuifl' alongside visiting masked troupes marching through the town streets. Participants don traditional gear, heavy furs, and distinctive hand-carved wooden demon masks, all accompanied by the deafening clatter of cowbells. The parade traditionally winds its way along Via Cairoli to the intersection with Via Pietralba and Via Dante. Once the Krampus figures complete their route, the festivities and entertainment continue inside the local Community Center (Kulturhaus) of Laives.
