spettacolo autunno: Sagra del paese a Villabassa (Autumn Festival in Villabassa)

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Dolomites, Villabassa hosts its traditional Village Festival (Kirchtag), an event celebrating cherished local customs. Organized by the young farmers association (Südtiroler Bauernjugend Niederdorf), the festivities take place at the community pavilion located at the western entrance of the village. The highlight of the celebration is the raising of the traditional festival tree, the 'Kirta-Michl-Bam', scheduled for 2:00 PM on Saturday and followed by live musical entertainment in the evening. The program also features the felling of the tree, tastings of coffee and homemade cakes prepared by local farm women, and a final raffle offering great prizes, including the festival tree itself.
