Suonatori di corno alpino di Gargazon (Alphorn Players of Gargazon)

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the city of Merano welcomes the traditional melodies of the 'Suonatori di corno alpino di Gargazon'. This musical event is part of the city's Grape Festival (Festa dell'Uva) celebrations, enlivening various corners of the town center with the distinctive sounds of the alphorn. The traveling performances, featuring musicians hailing from Gargazzone, will take place throughout the morning with free admission and no booking required. The route winds through several scenic spots in the historic center: Piazza Rena by the Madonna statue (from 10:00 to 10:20 AM), Piazza Terme (from 11:00 to 11:20 AM), the Kurhaus terrace along the Promenade (from 12:00 to 12:20 PM), and the upper arcades (from 12:45 to 1:05 PM). The event is organized by the Merano Tourist Board (Azienda di Cura, Soggiorno e Turismo di Merano).
