The 13th edition of Festa del Cacciatore returns to Lustignano to celebrate Tuscany's most authentic culinary traditions. On Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th July, this charming village in the heart of the Metalliferous Hills transforms into a paradise for game meat enthusiasts, featuring an exquisite menu where venison and wild boar take centre stage. Dishes prepared using time-honoured recipes that showcase the region's wildlife and tell stories of deeply rooted gastronomic culture. Stands open from 19:00 for dinner (and from 12:00 on Sunday for lunch) will serve over 15 specialities ranging from generous second courses to first courses prepared with wild meats: from wild boar pappardelle to braised venison, roasts, and hare cacciatore. A journey through the authentic flavours of traditional Tuscan cuisine, expertly prepared by our local chefs. Each evening, the festival comes alive with live dance music suitable for all ages, creating a festive and convivial atmosphere that welcomes visitors of every generation. Family-friendly entertainment and activities will also be available.
