Crispy skewers, succulent steaks and live music: the Festa dell'Arrosticino e della Ciccia returns to Cascine di Buti (PI), an unmissable event for lovers of rural Tuscan and Abruzzese gastronomy. From May 30 to June 7, the Campo Sportivo on via Eroi dello Spazio transforms into a culinary arena where you can taste fire-grilled meat specialities, from three varieties of arrosticini (lamb, turkey and Angus beef) to grilled poussins, accompanied by traditional antipasti, first courses and desserts. Every evening, starting at 7:30 PM, the food stands welcome families, groups of friends and food enthusiasts in a convivial atmosphere under the stars, with the option to eat indoors in case of bad weather. The highlight of the event is a different live band each evening, accompanying the tastings with great music and creating the perfect atmosphere for an unforgettable dinner. The initiative is promoted by the Nobile Contrada Cilecchio, one of the historic contradas of the Palio di Bientina, which has long been dedicated to enhancing local popular and food traditions.
