Festa dell'incontro e Festa delle palle fritte

One of the most anticipated summer events in Tuscany returns to Casciana Terme Lari: the Festa dell'Incontro, now in its 36th edition, joins this year with the 24th edition of the Festa delle Palle Fritte. An event celebrating conviviality and local gastronomic traditions, transforming Quattro Strade in Perignano into a gathering place and celebration for the entire community and visitors. Over two weekends on June 13-14 and 20-21, 2026, starting at 7:30 PM, bars and restaurants will open their doors with a rich menu featuring local specialties and traditional dishes. Fried balls (palle fritte), a symbolic dish of Tuscan tradition rooted in the region's rural recipes, will naturally be the stars of the show, available both indoors and in outdoor spaces for an authentic and convivial gastronomic experience. The festival represents a well-established tradition spanning nearly four decades, born from the local community's desire to preserve and celebrate authentic Tuscan gastronomy. Each edition attracts hundreds of visitors eager to savor genuine flavors and enjoy evenings of socializing. As evening falls, the program comes alive with a rich calendar of live music performances and dancing that will entertain from 9:30 PM onward. Each weekend features different artists and DJs, guaranteeing variety in music genres and entertainment for all tastes.
