The Festa della Bistecca e del Frate returns to Bientina to celebrate Tuscan gastronomic traditions in the enchanting Sughere park at Quattro Strade. Organized by the Associazione Carnevale Bientinese and Gruppo Podistico Bientinese, this event spans three weekends between June and July, offering the perfect opportunity to savor authentic local specialties in a convivial and festive atmosphere. A distinctive and unique element of the festival are the frati—traditional carnival-period sweets shaped like donuts, reminiscent of bomboloni. Though born from Carnival tradition, these pastry masterpieces prove irresistible on warm summer evenings and represent an exclusive specialty of this event.
