Festa della Polenta a palle ai Funghi porcini (Polenta & Porcini Mushroom Festival)

At the sports grounds in Bientina, located at via Leonardo Da Vinci 8, the Sextum Bientina association hosts the Festa della Polenta a palle ai Funghi porcini. This culinary gathering takes place for Sunday lunch on October 11, 18, 25, and November 1, 2026. The star of the menu is traditional 'polenta a palle' (scooped polenta balls), served either with rich porcini mushrooms or with hearty Cinta Senese pork ragù. Guests can also enjoy mixed antipasti of cured meats, crostini, and cheeses, penne with Cinta ragù, baked sausages, meatballs, Milanese-style Cinta cutlets, Cinta escalopes with porcini and mixed woodland mushrooms, steaks, grilled polenta, and seasonal side dishes. Wine and beer are available with meals, while desserts and liqueurs are served at the bar. Food stands operate self-service starting from 12:00 PM. The venue features outdoor tables in fair weather as well as covered dining areas, ensuring guests are accommodated rain or shine.
