The Festa della Schiacciata e del Tortello returns to the Parco Mediceo di Pratolino, a gastronomic event celebrating two of the most authentic dishes of Tuscan culinary tradition. For four consecutive weekends, from April to May 2026, the splendid setting of Villa Demidoff transforms into a place where good food, nature, and beauty meet in perfect harmony.
At La Locanda del parco, the kitchen remains open continuously from 11 to 20, offering hot and fragrant filled schiacciate alongside characteristic mugellani tortelli, prepared according to the most genuine recipes of local tradition. Schiacciata, the quintessential Tuscan bread, is offered in both sweet and savory variants, while the mugellani tortello—filled with potato, cheese, and local herbs—represents the gastronomic excellence of the Mugello region. An authentic culinary experience that allows visitors to savor the genuine flavors of the region in a unique atmosphere, enriched by the opportunity to stroll through the charming tree-lined paths of the historic park.
The festival is the ideal occasion for those who wish to combine the pleasure of dining with relaxation immersed in nature, taking advantage of the exclusive sunset aperitivo from 18 to 20. There are also attractions for the little ones, with a dedicated children's area and outdoor games, making the event perfect for families and groups of friends. During weekends, musical entertainment moments are scheduled to enliven the park's atmosphere.
