The celebrated Festa della Zuppa, Trippa e Polpetta returns to Bientina, an unmissable event for lovers of authentic Tuscan cuisine. From May 1st to 3rd, the town's sports field will host a celebration dedicated to three iconic specialties of the region's peasant tradition: Tuscan soup, tripe, and meatballs. A gastronomic tribute to simple yet delicious dishes that embody the essence of popular Tuscan cooking and the remarkable ability to transform humble ingredients into extraordinary meals.
The festival's rich menu goes far beyond these three main specialties, offering a complete journey through Tuscan flavors. Among the first courses, penne all'arrabbiata and Cinta Senese ragù compete for visitors' palates, while second courses offer an extensive selection including roast beef, baked sausages, and refined Cinta Senese scaloppine with porcini mushrooms. The food stands operate at lunch from 12:00 in self-service mode, perfect for those wanting to eat quickly, and at dinner from 19:00 with table service and a pizzeria, ideal for those seeking a more refined experience.
Organized by the historic Sextum Bientina association, this event offers much more than a simple food festival. Visitors can freely enjoy futsal courts, including covered facilities in case of rain, while the option to dine both outdoors and in covered spaces guarantees maximum comfort regardless of weather conditions. Three days dedicated to conviviality, good food, and sport.
