L'Eroica is a legendary cycling adventure born in 1997 in Gaiole in Chianti, where 92 cycling enthusiasts created an event that has become synonymous with adventure, perseverance, and breathtaking landscapes. Each edition attracts thousands of cycling enthusiasts from around the world, united in their quest for an authentic experience among the gentle Sienese hills, where the present blends seamlessly with the charm of the past. The October 3-4, 2026 edition promises once again to combine the heroic spirit of cycle touring with memorable routes and postcard-perfect scenery. The proposed routes cater to all fitness levels: from the Valle del Chianti Ride at 45 km, perfect for those seeking beauty without excessive effort, to the legendary Long Route exceeding 210 km with nearly 3,900 meters of elevation gain—a true challenge for experienced cyclists. Every kilometer tells the story of the territory, passing through vineyards, medieval villages, and white gravel roads that characterize the heart of Tuscany.
