Spring returns to San Miniato with the Sagra del Baccello con Carciofi fritti sanminiatesi, an unmissable opportunity for lovers of authentic Tuscan cuisine. Now in its 28th edition, this festival will be held in the ARCI La Serra Circle pavilion from April 24-26 and May 1-3, offering the genuine flavors of local tradition through simple yet extraordinary dishes.
The undisputed stars of the table will be fresh pod beans, accompanied by classic mixed cold cuts and pecorino cheese, alongside the celebrated San Miniato fried artichokes that represent a culinary excellence of the territory. But there's more: visitors will also be able to taste Tuscan crostini, cabbage soup, and pizzas and ciaccini (traditional flatbread) cooked strictly in wood-fired ovens. Tastings of extra virgin olive oil and other zero-kilometer products will showcase the gastronomic identity of this land.
