From August 10-16, 2026, the Orentano community welcomes visitors with a rich and varied program that blends gastronomy, entertainment, and moments of conviviality. At the heart of the festival is naturally the bigné—the signature pastry that draws thousands of visitors each year. Yet the Sagra del Bigné is far more than a simple food festival: it's an opportunity to experience Agosto Orentano in all its fullness, with live performances, music, family entertainment, and the genuine atmosphere of a village celebration. Event highlights include the Charity Raffle and Fireworks on August 12, moments that fill summer evenings with emotion and magic. Concluding this week of festivities will be the enchanting Sfilata del Dolcione (Sweet Parade) on Sunday, August 16—a symbolic moment celebrating Tuscany's most iconic dessert.
