Sagra del Cinghiale

The Sagra del Cinghiale in Rignano sull'Arno returns to celebrate its 30th edition with a rich calendar of gastronomic events honoring one of Tuscany's most iconic culinary traditions. From May 14-24, food lovers can savor authentic specialties prepared with wild boar meat, from hearty dishes like braised wild boar with olives and rosticciana, to freshly made pasta including tortelli and tagliatelle dressed with wild boar ragù. The food stands, set up at the sports facilities on via Roma, offer a complete culinary experience paired with the finest wines from the Florentine hills. The festival presents a unique opportunity to discover how Tuscan cuisine transforms simple ingredients into extraordinary dishes while keeping local traditions alive. Special attention is also given to community spirit, with a charity lunch on Saturday, May 23rd benefiting the young people from CTE and IL FORNO centers. The event is organized with dedication by G.S. Cacciatori Cinghiale and the ARCI Clubs of Osteria and Cellai, local organizations that guarantee the authenticity and quality of the festival.
