Sagra del Picio e dello Gnocco (Handmade Pasta and Gnocchi Festival)

The Casa del Popolo in Fiesole hosts the inaugural edition of the Sagra del Picio e dello Gnocco, an authentic culinary celebration unfolding across three weekends between October 30 and November 15, 2026 (specifically October 30 to November 1, November 6 to 8, and November 13 to 15). The event honors regional flavors with a rich dining menu deeply rooted in Tuscan tradition. The absolute stars of the feast are freshly made pici and handmade gnocchi, accompanied by a choice of savory sauces: aglione (garlic-tomato sauce), sausage and mushrooms, pumpkin and speck, or rustic poultry ragù. Rounding out the feast are traditional starters, mixed crostini, cured meat and cheese platters, and classic Florentine francesina (braised beef with onions). Food service is available for dinner on Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 PM, and for lunch on Sundays from 12:30 PM.
