Sagra della Fragola

The Sagra della Fragola returns to San Giuliano Terme for its 47th edition this year. A historic event with roots dating back to 1978, when it began as a simple village celebration dedicated to the beloved red fruit in the Sant'Andrea in Pescaiola locality. Over the decades, the festival has evolved into a major event, attracting visitors from across Tuscany thanks to an increasingly rich and varied gastronomic offering that showcases the typical specialties of the Pisa region. From Friday, May 22 to Sunday, May 24, 2026, the festival will come alive with food stalls opening from 7:30 PM (cash desk from 7:00 PM), where you can savor traditional local dishes accompanied by the famous strawberries grown in the surrounding fields, prepared in countless recipes and ways. From fresh strawberries to artisanal gelato, from cakes to typical sweets: a culinary experience that celebrates the fruit symbolizing spring in all its forms. The event, organized by the Circolo La Fragola Sant'Andrea in Pescaiola with the patronage of the San Giuliano Terme Municipality, stands out for its completely free admission and a dance floor open from 9:00 PM, where live music and DJs will animate all three evenings. The nights transform into a celebration that unites gastronomy, music, and conviviality, creating an authentically Tuscan atmosphere. A tradition to experience that has retained its genuine spirit while evolving over time. For those arriving by car, free parking is available near the festival area.
