Sagra del Pesce

The Sagra del Pesce of Massaciuccoli returns to inaugurate the spring festival season in the municipality of Massarosa, on the enchanting shores of Lake Massaciuccoli. This edition promises to be rich and varied, with nine festive days spread between April 18 and May 3, 2026. Founded in 1971 by the local blood donor association, this event is the oldest festival in the area and represents a well-established tradition that combines gastronomy, culture, and entertainment.

The festival menu offers a fascinating blend of lake fish and sea fish, thanks to the privileged geographical position of Lake Massaciuccoli, just a few kilometers from the Versilia coast. The dishes range from risotto to fried fish, from the famous cacciucco to catalana, enriched by local specialties such as eels and frogs. Each evening, the celebration is animated by live orchestras and DJ sets that create a convivial and festive atmosphere.

Beyond culinary delights, the Sagra del Pesce offers a rich program of cultural and recreational activities for the whole family: guided visits to the Archaeological Museum, creative workshops, boat excursions in the Lipu Nature Reserve, the Crafts Market, and areas dedicated to children's games. The CoccoBrillo Multipurpose Center offers over 200 covered seats and ample parking, ensuring comfort and accessibility for all visitors.
