Sagra della Cozza (Mussel Festival)

The Sagra della Cozza di Ronchi is one of Tuscany's most eagerly anticipated summer events, returning in August with an edition rich in authentic flavors of Apuan cuisine. From August 7-16, Parco La Comasca in Massa transforms into a gastronomic oasis where mussels take center stage—seafood that embodies the culinary traditions of the region. This year the festival offers a varied menu that goes well beyond mussels alone: Apuan fish-based recipes give visitors the opportunity to discover genuine flavors and sophisticated combinations.
