Sagra della Focaccetta (Focaccetta Festival)

The 26th edition of the Sagra della Focaccetta returns to Soliera Apuana, in the heart of Lunigiana, to celebrate one of the most authentic and beloved dishes of the local tradition. Nestled in the green surroundings of Lake Fario and just a short walk from the Alpi Apuane Regional Park, this event is an unmissable opportunity to savour the typical Lunigiana focaccette, prepared according to traditional recipes using wheat flour and cornmeal. A perfect blend of simplicity and genuine flavour, enhanced by pairings with fresh local cheeses and cured meats. From July 24 to August 2, 2026, the gastronomic stands will come alive in the summer evenings, offering not only the star focaccette, but also other specialities of Lunigiana cuisine that tell stories of authentic flavours and culinary traditions rooted in the territory. The festive atmosphere will be accompanied by live music and karaoke, creating a welcoming space where food lovers and families can enjoy unforgettable evenings. Organized by the Iacopo da Fivizzano Pro Loco Tourism Association in collaboration with the Fario Trabucco S.P.S.D., this festival represents an important event for those wishing to discover Tuscany's food and wine treasures.
