Sagra della Trota

The 33rd edition of the Sagra della Trota returns to Valligori, a small village in Villa Collemandina in the province of Lucca, to celebrate one of the most authentic dishes of Tuscan culinary tradition. Over the past three decades, this event has become a fixed appointment for food lovers and those seeking good company, attracting visitors from across the region and beyond. On Friday, July 10th and Saturday, July 11th, the village will transform into a true celebration dedicated to trout: starting at 7:30 PM, dinner service begins featuring freshwater fish specialties prepared by local chefs using traditional recipes. The menu offers baked trout, crispy fried trout, trout braised with local aromatic herbs, and delicious wood-fired pizzas, accompanied by carefully selected Tuscan wines. A perfect opportunity to taste the freshness of the local territory in a welcoming and authentic atmosphere. Live musical entertainment will frame the entire event, with live bands animating the evenings from 9:00 PM onwards, followed by DJ sets for those wishing to extend the festivities late into the night. Additionally, an artisanal market will be present showcasing products and creations from local master craftspeople, active throughout the festival hours.
