The Sagra dello Stinco e de' Tagliarini co' fagioli returns to Massarosa, an unmissable event for lovers of authentic Tuscan cuisine and family entertainment. The festival takes place at the Ex zoo park of Piano del Quercione over three weekends: August 13-16, 20-23, and 27-30, from 7:30 PM to midnight, offering a culinary experience where traditional local recipes take centre stage. The two signature specialities are complemented by other authentic Tuscan delights: tordelli al ragù, spaghetti allo scoglio, maccheroncini alla trabaccolara, and fried fish, all accompanied by renowned Tuscan wines at accessible prices (main courses €12-16, full menu €25-35). An ice cream parlour, beer garden, and extensive cocktail selection round out the gastronomic offerings for all tastes and preferences. But the sagra is far more than a culinary experience: entertainment continues on two dance floors with live music livening up the evenings. The first floor features a classical orchestra for traditional ballroom dancing, while the second offers Latin American rhythms and greatest hits from the ‹70s and ‹80s for non-stop dancing. Children can enjoy dedicated play areas with games and entertainment, while the entire venue is fully accessible for people with reduced mobility.
