Sagra della Panzanella (Panzanella Festival)

The Sagra della Panzanella returns to Semproniano with a new edition celebrating one of the most iconic dishes of Maremma's culinary tradition. On August 8-9 and 22-23, the public park of Semproniano transforms into a gastronomic arena where you can taste this summer salad made with stale Tuscan bread, fresh tomatoes and crispy vegetables, accompanied by extra virgin olive oil and vinegar. A journey through the authentic flavors of Tuscan Maremma, where every bite tells stories of tradition and culinary passion. The event, promoted by the Pro loco of Semproniano in collaboration with the local Sports Union, offers much more than just panzanella. Food stalls remain open every evening from 8:00 PM, offering a varied menu that highlights local flavors and the organizers' creativity. A perfect opportunity to discover how Tuscan popular cuisine transforms simple ingredients into extraordinary dishes. An interesting detail: during the Ferragosto holiday period, organizers move to the nearby hamlet of Rocchette di Fazio for the Sagra della Bruschetta, allowing visitors to expand their gastronomic journey and discover other delicacies of the Maremma region.
