Festa della Zucca a Sernaglia della Battaglia (Pumpkin Festival)

The Festa della Zucca returns to bring life to Sernaglia della Battaglia as part of the traditional 'Delizie d'Autunno' festival series. Hosted by the local Pro Loco at its pavilion and officially recognized as a certified quality sagra, the event celebrates the queen of the autumn table with an abundant gastronomic lineup. Pumpkin takes center stage in countless preparations: from first courses like gnocchi, cappellacci, crepes, and spätzle, to specialties such as 'zucca in saor' (sweet and sour pumpkin), fried pumpkin, artisanal pumpkin bread, and a wide array of themed desserts. On Sundays, the food service is also open for lunch. Alongside the culinary highlights, the festival features themed side activities, including carved pumpkin competitions and homemade pumpkin bread contests. Guided nature walks and excursions are also on offer, showcasing the local landscape from the Fontane Bianche spring waters to the Palù wetlands of the Quartier del Piave.
