Sagra dei peri di Conscio

In the Treviso countryside, the small hamlet of Conscio comes alive every summer with the Sagra dei Peri, an event rooted in a fascinating history. It all began decades ago when Maria, a local fruit vendor, prepared a special recipe for the Carmine festival: the famous "peretti" that would give this celebration its name. Although today the symbolic dish is no longer the main attraction on the table, the genuine and convivial spirit of that first edition remains intact, transforming the festival into an unmissable appointment for the local community and visitors.

The beating heart of the festival is the gastronomic stand, where traditional Veneto cuisine reigns supreme. Duck ragù gnocchi, crispy ribs, fragrant sausages and succulent grilled meats alternate with evenings dedicated to spit roasts and roasted chicken, all enhanced by a selection of local wines that satisfy even the most refined palates. The atmosphere is that authentic one of great village celebrations, where the table becomes a meeting point and occasion for celebration.

But the Sagra dei Peri is much more than gastronomy: it is entertainment for all ages.
