Sagra dei Funghi di Cusano Mutri (Mushroom Festival)

From September 25 to October 18, 2026, Cusano Mutri hosts the 46th edition of the Sagra dei Funghi, specially themed 'Mushrooms: A Connected Universe'. For four weeks, the historic center of the village comes alive with food and wine stands scattered throughout the streets, squares, and charming alleys. Here, locals and visitors alike can savor traditional recipes from Campania, featuring dishes made with porcini mushrooms and other regional delicacies. The festival goes far beyond culinary delights: throughout the event, attendees can enjoy a vibrant cultural and entertainment program. The schedule includes exhibitions, art installations, video mapping shows, projections, live music concerts, outdoor activities, and guided nature hikes in the surrounding countryside. To ensure smooth crowd management and easy access to the village during the festivities, the local municipality has set up an online booking service for parking and shuttle transfers.
