Uva e Dintorni e il Palio delle Botti (Grapes & Surroundings and the Barrel Race)

From September 4 to 6, 2026, the village of Sabbionara di Avio comes alive for the 25th edition of 'Uva e Dintorni', a celebration dedicated to the grape harvest and Vallagarina's rich winemaking heritage. Throughout the weekend, the historic center steps back in time with medieval reenactments, period atmospheres, live performances, and roving entertainment. Visitors can join guided tours through the vineyards and explore traditional wine and food courtyards specially opened for the occasion, offering authentic local specialties paired with regional wines. The highlight of the festival takes place on Sunday afternoon, September 6, featuring a grand historical parade and an exciting stage of the Palio Nazionale della Botte delle Città del Vino, where barrel-rolling teams from all over Italy compete. The celebration wraps up in the evening with live music and a spectacular fireworks show.
