Festa dello Sport e del Cinghiale alla Cacciatora

Among the rolling hills of the Maremma region in Tuscany, the Sports and Wild Boar Festa returns to Rispescia, a summer celebration that brings together the spirit of sport with local culinary tradition. From July 3rd to August 2nd, every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, this frazione of Grosseto transforms into an oasis of authentic flavour and conviviality, where the genuine tastes of Maremma cuisine meet the festive atmosphere of a true Italian sagra. A perfect blend of competition and tradition. The festival hosts sporting tournaments and competitions that engage the local community: from football matches to traditional games, archery competitions to cross-country running challenges. Sport becomes a vehicle for community building and entertainment, energizing days and evenings with enthusiasm and participation. Food stalls showcase beloved Tuscan specialities: from acquacotta soup to panzanella salad, from grilled meats to seasonal desserts—but the true star is cinghiale alla cacciatora (wild boar hunter's style), the iconic dish of Maremma cuisine. Every dish tells the story and passion of those who cultivate this land rich in authentic flavours. Located in the heart of the Maremma Regional Park, Rispescia offers the perfect setting for an unforgettable day, with the beach just twenty minutes away by car. Evenings come alive with a rich programme of live music and dancing that accompanies dinner under the stars, creating a magical and engaging atmosphere. Organized by A.S.D.
