Campagnatico is set to shine beneath the starlit sky of the Tuscan Maremma with ‹Il Paese in Festa›, an event celebrating the culinary traditions of the Upper Maremma in an atmosphere of conviviality and joy. From June 26 to 28, this charming village in the province of Grosseto transforms into a gathering place where past and present meet around tables laden with delicacies handcrafted by volunteers from the local Pro Loco association. The true star of the festival is Maremma cuisine, with its genuine and flavorful dishes: homemade tortelli, strozzapreti pasta with ragù, and succulent snails—specialties that tell the agricultural and pastoral story of the region. Starting at 7:30 PM, the gastronomic stand opens its doors to offer an authentic experience where every bite is prepared with dedication and love. Food becomes the universal language uniting visitors, allowing them to savor the essence of the Maremma in every dish. Yet ‹Il Paese in Festa› is more than just a gastronomic event: live concerts each evening featuring a wide variety of musical genres will transform summer nights into unforgettable moments under the stars.
