Sagra della Bruschetta (Bruschetta Festival)

Tuscany is preparing to welcome the 12th edition of the Sagra della Bruschetta, an unmissable event for lovers of authentic cuisine and genuine flavours. From August 1st to 9th, in Giardino, a hamlet of Capalbio in the province of Grosseto, the gastronomic tradition returns to celebrate one of the most iconic dishes of Tuscan peasant cuisine: bruschetta. A perfect opportunity to discover how a simple slice of toasted bread, dressed with extra virgin olive oil, salt and garlic, can transform into an unforgettable culinary experience. Every evening from 7:30 PM, the food stalls open their doors to welcome visitors and curious food enthusiasts, ready to taste not only bruschetta in its traditional and innovative variants, but also other typical dishes of local cuisine. This year the festival is enriched with an exciting novelty: grilled meat will take centre stage alongside established recipes, promising to satisfy even the most discerning palates. An event organized with dedication by the Arci Circle ‹Il Giardino› and by the numerous volunteers who, year after year, transform this festival into a moment of conviviality and shared experience. Tuscan summer thus takes on the aromas of regional cuisine, offering residents and tourists the opportunity to immerse themselves in the gastronomic traditions of a land rich in history and flavour.
