Sagra della Lasagna

In the heart of Tuscany, in Montenero d'Orcia, a hamlet of Castel del Piano in the province of Grosseto, the traditional Sagra della Lasagna returns. From May 22 to 31, 2026, during the Feast of San Servillo, the local community celebrates one of the most iconic dishes of Tuscan cuisine with an event that represents a moment of strong cultural and gastronomic identity for the region. The festival revolves around homemade lasagna, prepared following traditional methods passed down through generations. Each dish is accompanied by an authentic ragù, made with carefully selected ingredients sourced directly from local farms in Maremma, ensuring freshness and authenticity in every bite. The recipe respects the ancient teachings of Tuscan cuisine, where the simplicity of ingredients is transformed into extraordinary flavors through the patience and dedication of skilled cooks. Beyond culinary delights, the Sagra della Lasagna offers a rich program of special events that will animate the ten days of the festival: live music performances, folk dance exhibitions, traditional cooking workshops, local artisan markets, and tastings of Tuscan wines.
