The celebrated Sagra della Pecora e del Maiale returns to Monterotondo Marittimo, an unmissable event for lovers of Maremma gastronomy and authentic Tuscan culinary traditions. This festival takes place over two consecutive weekends—July 17-19 and July 23-26, 2026—at Pista dei Castagni, transforming into a true sensory journey through the region's most authentic flavors. The menu celebrates the festival's two stars with recipes that preserve centuries of rural Maremma tradition: from sheep, wild boar, and venison ragù served on traditional tortelli, to roasted lamb skewers and roast suckling pig.
