Festa del Cialdone

The Festa del Cialdone in Piancastagnaio returns for its 34th edition to celebrate one of Tuscany's most distinctive traditional desserts. From July 16-19, the Giardini Nasini will transform into a gastronomic arena where the cialdone—this sweet and crispy wafer beloved throughout the Casentino, Garfagnana, and Amiata regions—takes center stage. An unmissable opportunity to taste an authentic piece of regional culinary heritage, accompanied by other local delicacies served at food stands starting at 7:00 PM. But the Festa del Cialdone is more than just a celebration of fine tastes. Promoted by the association ‹Lo Stretto› and hosted at the Contrada Coro venue, this event features a rich program that blends culinary pleasures with classic summer entertainment.
