Sagra del Cinghiale (Wild Boar Festival)

The hamlet of Pieve a Maiano, in the municipality of Civitella in Val di Chiana (AR), hosts the 42nd edition of the Sagra del Cinghiale. Held at the local Circolo Sportivo, the event offers the warm, welcoming atmosphere of traditional village feasts, with the option to dine either indoors or on the charming panoramic terrace. The menu highlights local Tuscan flavors, focusing on wild game dishes such as the famous maccheroni with wild boar ragù and wild boar stew, both stewed and in salmì style.
