Sagra del Ciaffagnone

The Sagra del Ciaffagnone returns to San Casciano dei Bagni to celebrate one of Tuscany's most authentic culinary traditions. Now in its 37th edition, this festival is set to enchant visitors over three days of genuine flavors and conviviality, from June 12–14, 2026. The undisputed star is the ciaffagnone, a rustic crêpe with ancient origins, traditionally prepared during Carnival season with simple yet noble ingredients: flour, eggs, water, and salt. Each evening, food stands will open their doors to offer an abundant menu of local traditional dishes, with Sunday also featuring lunch service. Alongside the celebrated ciaffagnone, this year introduces an exciting novelty: handmade tagliatelle, further enriching the festival's gastronomic offerings. Live music and dancing will animate the evenings, transforming every meal into a celebration and a festive gathering. Organized by the Pro loco San Casciano dei Bagni, the festival represents an excellent opportunity to discover the authentic flavors of the region and immerse yourself in local gastronomic culture.
