Sagra del Cinghiale

The renowned Sagra del Cinghiale returns to Noceta, in the province of Arezzo, for its 26th edition. Over two weekends, from May 15-24, 2026, the ACLI La Noceta Circle will transform into a temple of Tuscan gastronomy, where wild boar meat reigns supreme as the star ingredient in authentic dishes from the Valdichiana Aretina region. This festival is deeply rooted in local culinary tradition and continues to attract food enthusiasts from across Italy. The program features gastronomic stands opening for dinner from 8:00 PM, while on Sundays (May 16 and 23) lunch service begins at 12:00 PM. Must-try specialties include wild boar dishes—this year featuring the exciting addition of wild boar shank—ribollita, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, and authentic Tuscan wood-fired pizza. Every dish represents a genuine taste journey through the region, prepared using recipes passed down through generations. Beyond the culinary delights, the festival offers a convivial atmosphere with live music, family entertainment, and community gatherings where tradition beautifully blends with the warm hospitality of local communities. The event is organized with passion by the Wild Boar Squad ‹Gli Amici del Re della Macchia› with the patronage of the Castiglion Fiorentino Municipality.
