Sagra del Fritto

Monteroni d'Arbia is preparing to celebrate one of the most beloved dishes in Italian culinary tradition: fried food. The Sagra del Fritto, scheduled from 15 to 23 May 2026 in the charming Piazza della Resistenza, promises five evenings of delicious food and conviviality. Starting at 7:30 PM, the fryers will be fired up to offer visitors an authentic and genuine culinary experience, where expertly prepared fried dishes meet Tuscan gastronomic tradition. Each evening has its own character: Fridays are dedicated to fried fish, Saturdays to fried lamb, while Sundays feature a combination of fried lamb and brains. Of course, fried meat and vegetables will be available daily to satisfy every palate. This is not just excellent food, but a genuine social event enriched by live music, entertainment, and dancing, which will animate the evenings and create an even more festive atmosphere. The event, organized by the Associazione Masse with the patronage of the Municipality of Monteroni d'Arbia, represents an unmissable opportunity for food lovers and those passionate about local gastronomic culture. On Saturday 23 May, a hobbyist market starting at 5:00 PM will add further interest to the event. Admission is completely free, making the festival accessible to everyone.
