Sagra del Tortellino e della Trippa

The Contrada Cavallano of Casole d'Elsa returns to celebrate the excellence of Tuscan cuisine with the 2nd edition of the Sagra del Tortellino e della Trippa, scheduled from Friday, June 5 to Sunday, June 7, 2026. An event deeply rooted in the traditions of the Siena territory, where local gastronomy meets the community spirit that characterizes the famous Palio horse race of this charming Val d'Orcia village. Three days dedicated to authentic flavors, where the iconic dishes of popular Tuscan cuisine – tortellini and tripe – become the stars of an immersive culinary experience. The festival offers not only traditional enogastronomic specialties prepared according to time-honored recipes, but a full calendar of entertainment designed to engage families, groups of friends, and food lovers alike. The program features themed dinners Friday and Saturday evenings (advance reservations recommended), Sunday lunches, tastings of local wines and typical Siena products. Beyond culinary delights, the festival offers a special raffle, live music and DJ sets that will enliven the evenings from 7:00 PM onwards, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere.
