The Sagra della Pulenda returns to Loro Ciuffenna to celebrate one of the most authentic dishes of Tuscan tradition. On Saturday 8 and Sunday 9 August 2026 at Poggio di Loro, volunteers from the La Porta del Pratomagno Association will prepare polenta and chestnut flour specialities using the characteristic wood-fired oven, offering visitors a genuine and unforgettable culinary experience. Sponsored by the Municipality of Loro Ciuffenna, this event is more than just a feast for the palate—it's an opportunity to discover the authentic flavours of Amiata and southern Tuscany. With free admission and complimentary shuttle service to ensure easy access, the festival welcomes all families in a warm and inclusive atmosphere. On the menu you'll find the renowned pulenda (Tuscan polenta) accompanied by traditional sauces, castagnaccio (chestnut cake), necci with walnuts, and other delicacies made from chestnut flour.
